3 April 2025, Frankfurt – Investment Trends, a leading market research firm, has released the 15th edition of its 2025 Germany Online Investing Report. The report reveals a strong rebound in online investing participation and a shift in investor focus towards long-term financial goals, as competitive pressures drive record switching activity.

The latest report shows that Germany’s online investor population has grown to 1.79 million—up 3% from last year—reversing the decline seen in 2024. This growth is driven by three key forces: a wave of first-time investors entering the market, a resurgence of previously dormant investors, and continued engagement by existing clients.
