Investment Trends US Sweepstakes 2026

Official rules –  Terms and Conditions of entry

No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win. Completion of the survey is not necessary to enter the random prize draw. Void where prohibited.

Part A – General terms (apply to Parts B and C)

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. This promotion consists of two separate components: the random prize draw in Part B, in which winners are selected by chance, and the Most Comprehensive Response Award in Part C, in which the winner is selected by judges on the basis of skill.
  2. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win, and will not improve your chances of winning. Completion of the survey is not necessary to enter the random prize draw; a free alternative method of entry is available under clause 6. Void where prohibited.

  3. The Promoter is Investment Trends Pty Limited, Level 6, 143 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. Australian Business Number (ABN) 14 107 485 656.

  4. The promotion commences July 6th 2026 in all eligible states and closes on August 21 2026 at 11:59pm (EDT). The same period and eligibility apply to Parts B and C. Entry is open to legal United States residents residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (DC) who have reached the age of majority in their state (18 years, or 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi). Employees of the promoter, and associated agencies, and their immediate families and household members, are ineligible.

  5. One complete valid entry per person will be accepted, in total, across all methods of entry and both components. Additional entries will not increase your chances of winning and will be void. No person may win more than one prize across Part B and Part C. Where the winner of the Most Comprehensive Response Award has also been drawn in Part B, the Part B prize stands and the Most Comprehensive Response Award passes to the next highest-scoring eligible response. The odds of winning the random prize draw depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the promotion period.

  6. There are two methods of entry. No purchase, payment or survey completion is required for the free method, which goes into the same draw with the same chance of winning as survey entries:
    1. Survey entry (enters Part B and Part C): complete and submit the on-line survey emailed to you during the promotion period, and opt into the draw.
    2. Free on-line entry (enters Part B only): visit https://investmenttrends.com/amoe-usa2/ during the promotion period and submit the entry form with your first name, last name, email address, state of residence, and year of birth.

Free entries are not eligible for Part C, as no survey response is submitted for the judges to assess.
  7. Prizes may be treated as taxable income. All federal, state and local taxes on a prize, and any other costs of accepting it, are the winner’s sole responsibility.

  8. Winners must verify their eligibility and identity before receiving a prize, and may be asked to provide a declaration of eligibility, liability release, publicity release (where permitted), and any tax documentation, within 14 days of request. If a winner doesn't respond within 14 days, doesn't return the required documents, can't be reached, or is found ineligible, they may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Except where prohibited by law, winners agree that the Promoter may publish their first name, last initial, and state of residence. The winners list will be published on Investment Trends' website by 1st September 2026.

  9. Survey answers are reported in aggregate and de-identified form, and never attributed to any individual, organisation or account. Responses are handled in line with the Research Society's Code of Professional Behaviour, the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market and Social Research, and Investment Trends' privacy policy.

  10. To be entered and notified, respondents opt in and provide contact details. These are used only to administer the promotion: verifying eligibility, conducting the draw and judging, notifying winners, delivering prizes, publishing the winners list, and meeting tax obligations. Providing contact details is optional; respondents who prefer not to can still complete the survey, though they won't be entered or notified. Contact details are kept separate from survey responses, linked only by a reference identifier to identify a winning entry, and deleted within six months of the promotion closing, except where records must be kept for tax or legal reasons. The Promoter may engage service providers to host the survey, administer entries and deliver prizes on its behalf. Any such provider acts only on the Promoter's instructions under contract and may use participant information only for the purposes set out above. The Promoter remains responsible for that information at all times.

  11. The Promoter may cancel, terminate or modify this promotion, or either component of it, at any time; where a component ends early, affected prizes will be awarded from the eligible entries received to that point. The Promoter is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error, and no responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

  12. By entering, entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Promoter, its directors, employees, agents, representatives, and any affiliated or partnering companies, from claims, costs, losses or damages arising from or connected with this promotion. The Promoter and its affiliates and agents are not liable for computer, software, network or transmission problems or other technical issues. This promotion is subject to all applicable United States federal, state and local laws and regulations. Nothing in these conditions of entry limits any right or remedy an entrant may have under the laws of their state of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Part B – Random prize draw (selected by chance)

  13. The random prize draw contains a first prize of a $2,000 Amazon voucher* and four runner up prizes of a $300 Amazon gift voucher each, with total prizes valued at approximately $3,200 and five winners. Prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable and are subject to availability. The promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal value if an unforeseeable circumstance prevents delivery of the intended prize. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.

  14. The draw will take place at the promoter’s Head office, Level 6, 143 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia on August 28th 2026 at 01:00pm (AEST), from all eligible entries received. The first entry drawn takes the first prize and the next four take the runner up prizes. The draw is conducted by allocated Investment Trends representatives whose decisions on the draw are final and binding.

  15. Winners will be notified by email, or by mail if no email address is available, within 14 days of the draw, and are subject to clause 8. Any prize remaining unclaimed will be re-drawn at the same place on October 6 2026 at 2:30pm (AEST) and that winner notified by email.

Part C – Most Comprehensive Response Award (judged on skill)

  16. Entry is by survey entry under clause 6 only, and a completed survey is automatically considered. There will be a Microsoft Surface Pro 9, 128GB Intel Core i5 valued at approximately $749.99 (RRP**) given to the respondent who provides the most comprehensive answer to the survey. This is a contest of skill, not a game of chance.

  17. The most comprehensive winner will be judged by Investment Trends after the promotion closes. To be assessed, the respondent must have answered all questions, including all open-ended questions, presented to them. Responses are scored out of 100:

      1. Insightful value – 40 points: reasoning, explanation or context beyond a bare statement of fact or preference.
      2. Detail of the response – 40 points: how specific and complete the answer is, and whether it addresses what was asked.
      3. Clarity of response – 20 points: how clearly the answer is expressed.

The winner is selected once all relevant answers have been reviewed, and is the highest total score; tied responses are re-scored on insightful value alone, and if a tie remains the earliest response received wins. The Investment Trends Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of judging and is subject to clause 8.

  18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by any of, Amazon or Microsoft.
*The $2,000 first prize may be delivered as a combination of vouchers totaling that amount, depending on delivery restrictions.
**The RRP (Recommended Retail Price) is an indicative amount, provided for information only and subject to change outside Investment Trends control. If the Surface Pro 9 is not available the next similar model in the closest price range will be issued, depending on availability.
