Terms and Conditions of Entry

  1. Information on how to enter and the benefits received form part of these conditions of entry.

  2. No purchase necessary to enter. This is a skill-based competition, and entries will be judged based on the most comprehensive responses received.

  3. Entry Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of Canada, including Quebec, who are aged 18 years and over and who complete and submit the Investment Trends 2025 Trading Behaviour Survey. Employees of the promoter, their immediate families, and its agencies are ineligible to enter.

  4. Promotion commences 10/03/2025. Entries close on 01/05/2025 at 11:59pm.
  5. The Most Comprehensive Prize(s): The three most comprehensive responses will each receive a $1,000 CAD Amazon gift card (or an equivalent value digital gift card from a provider chosen by Investment Trends) *.

  6. The most comprehensive winners will be judged by Investment Trends. Investment Trends Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  7. Most comprehensive judging criteria:
    • The respondent has opted for their answers to be considered in the most comprehensive responses.
    • The respondent has answered all questions, including open-ended questions presented to them.
    • Responses to Open-ended questions will be judged as follows;
      40% on insightful value
      40% on detail of the response
      20% on clarity of response 

  8. Entries can only be made in an individual’s own name and in their own capacity and no entry can be made for or on behalf of any other person, venture or organisation. Each entrant may only enter one valid entry to this promotion.

  9. Winner Selection and Notification: The most comprehensive winners will be selected after the survey has closed and once all relevant answers have been reviewed. Winners will be contacted via email by 24/05/2025.

  10. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.
  11. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

  12. All data collected from this survey will remain anonymous in accordance with the Canadian Market Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) Code of Conduct and in accordance with the Code of Professional Behaviour of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) of Australia and the privacy policy of Investment Trends.
  13.  Personal information collected will be handled in compliance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and relevant Quebec privacy laws, including Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information).
  14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. 
  15. The Promoter is entitled at its sole discretion to reject or disqualify any entry which it determines to be incomplete or ineligible or which in the sole opinion of the Promoter contains unlawful, defamatory, offensive or other material which if published would place the business interests of the Promoter at risk or adversely affect the goodwill, name or reputation of the Promoter.

  16. In the event of any dispute, the dispute will be passed to the Principal or CEO of Investment Trends, and their decision will be final.

  18. Investment Trends reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

    Investment Trends will use a digital gift card provider and reserves the right to change this provider as necessary.
